It gives me great pleasure to invite you to join with me and our ASPIRE colleagues in Beijing, China. The theme is Journeying the Silk Road of Reproductive Care and already we have an exciting programme in development.

The scientific programme committee has invited a great line-up of international and national speakers for the Bruno Lunenfeld lecture and the keynote lectures. In addition to this, there will be many concurrent sessions, debates, panel discussions, how-to sessions, free communications and posters. As always there will be plenty of time for questions and discussions. Group meetings of the SIGs members and the Fertility and Reproduction editorial team will also be scheduled.

There is much to share at ASPIRE and I promise you, you will not be disappointed. Knowledge sharing is integral to all we do with our patients as we help them navigate their reproductive lives. Join with me in Beijing – a global meeting so close to us all.

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, I warmly welcome everyone in the field of reproductive medicine to the 15th Congress of the Asia-Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE 2026), taking place in Beijing, China from 7–10 May 2026.

As the birthplace of the first IVF birth in Mainland China, the Third Hospital of Peking University has long been at the forefront of reproductive medicine research. Our Reproductive Medicine Center maintains close collaborations and training exchanges with institutions across the Asia Pacific region. From 2021 to 2022, the Chinese team successfully hosted five ASPIRE masterclasses, which received unanimous praise from participants.

Through this Congress, we hope to foster meaningful discussions across various fields including reproductive endocrinology, andrology, genetics, immunology, psychology, and medical ethics. It is an opportunity to share ideas, celebrate our diversity, and explore paths for future collaboration.

April to May is the most beautiful season to visit Beijing, with pleasant weather and stunning scenery. As a city with over 3,000 years of history, Beijing offers a rich cultural experience with numerous historical landmarks and heritage sites. We invite you to not only enjoy the academic exchange, but also to relax, rejuvenate, and immerse yourself in Chinese culture.
